that you could all just come to my classroom and see the kids and hear their voices.
i feel like these stories can't do the hilarious-ness justice because you can't quite catch what these crazies sound like.
(by the way, we worked on synonyms and antonyms today - one kid used crazy and sane as an example - appropriate, i thought)
that same kid came back from gym with his shoelaces tied together. he also can cross just one of his eyes and said to me "ms. matthews i see two of you. is something wrong with my eye?" (but his VOICE - argh! i just can't capture it in writing. he's got the almost-homestarrunner-voice) i looked at him and told him to put his eye "back where it belonged." whatever, he knew what i meant.
