a game

we played a 'game' today where a choice is presented (chocolate/ vanilla) and each student has to choose one - not none or both or i don't know, but you have to choose A or B ... sounds dumb, but then they come up with their own, which is interesting. and it helps them to listen to each other.

the game was fun. my favorite one they came up with was: homework or classwork? they were split pretty even. none of them would read a book over watching the movie. all but one prefer christmas over halloween and they'd all choose a car with hydraulics (how do you spell that?) over an Escalade. not all of them like the eagles and most like the steelers more than the falcons. they prefer 4-wheelers to dirt bikes (according to one - "because they're safer! they have FOUR wheels"). they like beyonce better than halle berry and shockingly most prefer water over cola.

among those choices presented that i vetoed (which led to the end of the game) were: God or the devil - hell or heaven - cigarettes or weed - cap-gun or bebe gun ...
