i tried a few new classroom management techniques today. to my utter SHOCK and DELIGHT they worked!!
not yelling went REALLY far, actually. much more effective to act bored with them and their behavior and walk to their desk and whisper so that no one else can hear what you are saying. doesn't cause as much of a scene. beautiful.
it also helped that now i have a computer and i can take away computer time. mmmmmm.
