They call me Miss. And here are a few gems of the comments I've received this week:
1. Miss, guess what? I'm on my period. (I almost responded with, "Me too, kid, me too.")
2. Miss, if someone tells me they're going to beat me up if I tell an adult something, should I come tell you anyway?
3. F*** this (I get that one a lot, actually).
