On Wednesday I discovered that at least a few of my students should have one-on-one support all the time. We have had *one* support guy show up so far.
These behavior issues include what is diagnosed as a "flight problem" ... no, my kids cannot fly, but they LOVE to escape the classroom.
- They also like to hang out the windows.
- They also like to curse at each other. A lot.
- They also like to hit each other.
- They will hit more if their mom is mentioned.
- Incentives work for approximately 45 minutes.
- If one escapes, the others either leave too, or go to the door and watch.
Calling home hasn't worked yet, because either the kids' parents don't even tell them I called, or the number has been disconnected. Special.
