feeling better than i did last night (thankfully). got the lesson plans done, and i have the whole evening FREE!! woooo!!
and today was a ... fine ... day. i think i'm losing emotion. objectively, it sure wasn't great. buuut - it could've been a lot worse.
i saw a couple of my 'old' students in the hallway today, which was fun. now that i'm not their teacher i can joke around with them ("you behavin'? gimme a smile ..."). cute things.
after school i actually had a chance to look at some of the work they've done. they sure have a long way to go (lots of them are struggling with basic phonics and word recognition. umm ... ).
