but my students act like it sometimes. today, one girl got frustrated with her work and LITERALLY started crawling around the floor making baby noises. it was the most absurd thing ever (aside from the chicken she gave me). it took more than half an hour to get her up.
all the while, her 'boyfriend' (see previous post) kept saying/ pleading, "ms. matthews, something's WRONG with her" ... "we gotta take her to the nurse" ... "can i call the office?" ... "get help, she's not acting normal" ... "ms. matthews what's wrong with her" ... "she is not right."
no, no she's not (but neither are you, kiddo).
oh he also said, "she needs heeeeeelp." i said, "we ALL need help. get back to work."
