i have 6 small windows above the door in my classroom. one window is busted out and occasionally kids will throw their backpacks through there in the morning if my door is locked.
that doesn't really bother me much.
what *does* bother me is KIDS climbing through.
i had a meeting this morning and so i wasn't there right when they got there (they're not even supposed to be in my class until much later, anyway ...). when i came down after the mtg., there was quite a commotion outside my room. and the door was open.
they boosted a kid up there ... oh my goodness ... it's at least 10 feet tall. the kid had to climb on the lockers to get up and then stand on my TELEPHONE in the room to get down.
geez louise.
