oh wow. had an awesome meal after school w/ the staff where we ate a lot and then sang some random song that the music teacher plunked out on his portable keyboard. hilarious.
then i went to the community center where (not surprisingly) a bunch of kids that i didn't know were excited that i was there. 3 of my students were there and i sat with them. excellent food, excellent entertainment (songs, *dances* (hilarious), and even a skit). it was really cool to feel a part of that community.
