during testing, we got boxes with juice and things like pop-tarts or honeybuns to have for breakfast in the classroom. my kids went through withdrawal the days after testing was over.
so last thursday (after one WHOLE day without breakfast in the classroom), they were all talking about how if i just wrote them a note to go to the cafeteria, they could get a box of breakfasts. i was skeptical and annoyed because we were already 25 minutes into the school day. all of a sudden, i looked up and two kids are gone.
15 minutes later, they came back with a box they could hardly carry together. it was FULL of juices and snacks. one of them had written a note (in his chicken scratch writing ...) and the cafeteria ladies bought it ... both my name and breakfast were spelled wrong. and the note said they needed 25 breakfasts.
they are so good at getting what they want. i couldn't do much but laugh.
oh, and on monday, they came back with 30 something pop-tarts. oh bless.
